Mgr. Fra. Robert Adelsohn BELS and H.E Fra. Heiko BELS, honored the invitation of the Grand Maste of the OSMTH, His Eminence Fra. Jacques DUBOS, to participate in the events organised by the Grand Priory of Italy, on 1st February 2025, in the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore. Our Grand Master passed the "Porta Santa", the previous day.

About 200 Templars Knights, in cape, and our Grand Prior of Germany, H.E Heiko Bels, passed through the "Porta Santa", opened every 25 years, to commemorate the "Holy Year". This was "une première" for the Templars. After that, they all assisted to a mass celebrated by the Vicar General of the OSMTH, Monsignor Gino Di Ciocco, under the authority of the Basilica, His Eminence Cardinal Rolandas Mackrikas, Coadjutor Archpriest.

Followed then, the benediction and official handover of the Grand Collier of the new Grand Prior of Germany, to H.E. Cosmin Todorut. This was done in the presence of the Grand Master OSMTH and several international Grand Priors.
